While Salty Viking is new to the St. John charter scene, her owners are anything but newcomers to the islands. With more than three decades of experience visiting St. John—and over five years as owners of Astral Villa—they understand exactly what travelers are looking for in a premium island experience. As frequent guests before becoming hosts, they know the difference between a standard outing and a truly exceptional, well-cared-for adventure. Set out to explore all the US Virgin Islands has to offer on a full or half-day private charter and discover amazing destinations only accessible by boat—perfect for adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable memories.

• St. John Island Hop – Cruise to the pristine offshore cays of the Virgin Islands National Park, where vibrant reefs invite you to snorkel and explore. Relax on remote, boat-only beaches like Caneel Bay before heading to lunch at a floating favorite—Lime Out in Coral Bay or Pizza Pi in Christmas Cove. For a stylish twist, enjoy lunch and boutique shopping at Lovango Cay Beach Club.

• Water Island – Start with snorkeling stops at Christmas Cove or Greater St. James, where you’ll find colorful reefs, a shallow shipwreck, and the rocky Stragglers pinnacles. Then cruise along the south shore of St. Thomas to Honeymoon Beach on Water Island. Enjoy fish tacos, island cocktails, and laid-back vibes at Dinghy’s Beach Bar with free beach amenities.

• Hidden Cays & Secret Beaches – Let your captain whisk you to tucked-away coves and white-sand beaches that can only be reached by boat. Snorkel crystal-clear waters, float in seclusion, and soak up the pure beauty of the Virgin Islands off the beaten path.

British Virgin Islands Tours

After a scenic cruise to the BVI and clearing customs, your adventure begins! (Please note: approximately $85 cash per person is required for customs and duties. Our crew will handle everything while you relax onboard.) Full-day options only.

• Jost Van Dyke All Day – This little island packs a big punch! Stroll the sandy main street of Great Harbor for a Bloody Mary at Corsair’s, then swing by to meet Foxy in the Fox Hole (often found in his hammock). Stop for a snorkel at Diamond Cay, or take a swim at Sandy Spit, then refuel with island favorites like fresh fish sandwiches, tacos, or the beloved BVI chicken roti. Over in White Bay, don’t miss the famous lobster quesadilla at One Love Bar & Grill before sinking your toes into the sand at Soggy Dollar with a classic Painkiller in hand.

• The Triangle Trip – Snorkel the world-famous Indians at Norman Island, then enjoy lunch at The Bight, the lively floating bar Willy T, or laid-back Cooper Island Beach Club. Afterward, cruise to Jost Van Dyke and unwind on White Bay with a signature Painkiller in hand.

• Virgin Gorda & The Baths – Though it’s a longer cruise (over 30 miles), the journey is part of the experience with plenty of comfortable seating onboard. Hiking through the awe-inspiring Baths is a true bucket-list experience, weaving between giant granite boulders, hidden pools, and sandy caves.
